Why You Should Join An AMG Group
It can be lonely in business – join this monthly support group of like-minded, positive business owners and take your business to levels you previously never dreamed of!
The AMG (Advanced Mentoring Group) methodology provides a helping hand and a forum for you to connect with progressive and successful business owners. Through facilitated sessions you will connect with business building principals, techniques and ideas. You will be encouraged to learn and apply those ideas in your business to grow your business for the ‘lifestyle’ you want and deserve. All this in a monthly support group of like-minded, positive business owners.
So, AMGs are groups of business owners who meet monthly in a confidential and supportive environment to review the performance of their own business and assist others to develop theirs. Membership is for small and medium businesses and restricted to the owners of the business.
The AMG business building methodology membership includes:
- A facilitated group mentoring workshop for 2 ½ hours per month
- ‘Spotlight’ your business and get the group working for you
- One on one update and accountability sessions once a month
- Development of a one page strategic plan for your business
- Opportunity to network and attend ‘combined group’ events in the AMG community
- Opportunity to attend any other groups (non competing business) at no extra cost
- An upgrade path for additional one to one mentoring for faster results
- There are no competing businesses in a group
- A focus on turning businesses / practices in to saleable assets
By The Way: The amount of one to one mentoring you receive between the group sessions is variable and customisable according to your business needs. Just contact us for a chat and we will explain everything.
Some of the benefits of being an AMG member:
? Enjoy Group Fellowship, Camaraderie and Networking: You will belong to a confidential support group of like-minded business owners. You will be encouraged to learn new ideas and skills and share with others.
? Business Planning: – You will be encouraged and coached on how to develop a powerful and motivating One Page Plan for your business.
? Business Building: With the group and your one to one mentoring you will learn how to develop and implement business building strategies and plans to significantly grow your business.
? Board Process: Through the monthly board meetings your progress will be reviewed against the goals you set for the business.
? Learn How To Turn Your Business In To A Saleable Asset: Develop strategies and plans to turn your business in to an asset that you could sell at some time in the future.
? Accountability and Making It Happen: Your group facilitator will keep you focussed on your plan of action and will help you track your progress towards your goals and milestones. Discuss and address things specific to your business and personal goals.
? Combined Groups – Special Events and Networking: As a group member you will be invited to our combined group event meetings which we aim have twice a year with an entrepreneurial guest speaker. It’s a chance to learn and network with more business owners.
? Attend Other AMG Groups: As a member you can attend any other group board meeting at the same level as your membership as long as you aren’t a competing business with a sitting member. This means if you miss your own local group meeting you can attend at another time and location. You can even attend multiple groups in one month if you wish.
? No Lock-In Membership: Membership is paid monthly and you can leave at any time. BUT BE WARNED – AMG can be addictive! Some people are still in a group after a decade and still loving it!

I thoroughly enjoyed the 2 years I spent in the AMG mentoring group. I met some interesting and motivated people and certainly picked up some great ideas from them and I am sure this was reciprocated. I especially enjoyed listening to the special guests John organized some months. They gave me some great ideas which I have used in my own business as well as contacts. As an example, John introduced me to a business analyst who ended up saving me $thousands. Since being in the group my business has turned from a loss into a profit which I believe is partly due to thinking and doing things differently than before. I would recommend this group to any business owner who is feeling a bit stale and needs motivating.
